"I called in on a whim really passing by window shopping for some flooring Paul was friendly, helpful and not pushy at all which I really valued. Result being I had selected a piece of flooring not stocked but he soon sourced for me for a small room in a terraced house. Despite this not being the sale of the month Paul came and measured, returned to board the room and lay the flooring in March within two weeks (not an easy task you may know as nothing is regular in these houses). Paul gave me good advice and options, was agreeable and flexible, reliable and in my opinion good value. The service from start to finish was first class and I am very pleased with the overall result."

“Looking online for a bed for next day delivery, all the big sites offer this but in reality this is often not the case. I found Mundy's website, rang at 9am, and yes they had what I wanted at a good price and could deliver same day. I was at the shop to purchase by 11am and my bed was delivered by 12 noon, just ahead of me reaching home!
I can't praise the service of this lovely store highly enough. Excellent stock knowledge and advice at a competitive price.
Run by Paul and his daughter Gemma, they were friendly, kind and helpful.
As I needed the bed urgently to put in a downstairs room for my elderly mother, Paul not only delivered the bed straight away, but put it together and in place in her room and happily took away all the packaging.
We are delighted with the bed and the excellent service Mundy's gave us, and Earlham Shopping Centre provide an hours free car parking.
So thankyou Paul and Gemma at Mundy's! I would certainly recommend this store very highly.

“It was a pleasure to use someone so local that one could take plenty of time to decide and select carpets and flooring. Nothing was too much trouble as I took various samples home overnight. The final fittings and coordination of a laminator was efficient and all worked well. Am very pleased with the result having had patience help and advice to get it to right. Why go to a shell of a warehouse where no one speaks to you when we have Paul in the heart of the Golden Triangle? Local decorators and a carpenter completed the job. Thanks to all concerned.”

“Paul was extremely helpful from the first moment I stepped through the door to the shop. We soon whittled down our choices to 3, based on budget and purpose, saving us time and effort and then were able to take to the property to test out how these looked. The customer service was completely tailored to our needs. The fitting was done to a great quality and was flexible around our other workmen on site and timetable. Can't fault the service and highly recommend! This really does go to show that the local independent shops look after you - we will never step foot into a carpet chain again!”

“I contacted Paul, after reading the reviews that people had left, and I am so glad I did. Paul promptly came to my home assessed the job as the carpet was for my Hallway, Stairs, and Landing. He gave me an estimate, which was very reasonable, and agreed a date for it to be fitted. Paul contacted me and said that he could fit the carpet 2 days earlier if that was convenient. He duly arrived on that day at the time he said he would and started work straightaway. Paul and his apprentice Kai were both friendly and professional they completed the fitting quickly. The carpet was Black and White and had a stripe pattern with the stripes having various widths. The result looked amazing and was far better than I was expecting, the stripes lined up perfectly from the Landing to the Stairs, the Stairs to the Hallway and this was down to Pauls expertise. I would highly recommend Paul and am a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER.”

Seamless, quality carpet fitting
“We originally went to Paul when we were looking to buy a new-build and needed the whole house fitting. He was flexible and helpful with a quick turnaround (much more so than any of the big brands we spoke to) and had no problems when the house ultimately fell through. So when we finally bought a different property a few months later, we went back to him. He provided an absolutely faultless service and a good sense of humour. In the end we trusted him with a house key so he could get everything down when we were at work, and the final result looks excellent. Many thanks!”

“It was good to meet Paul at his shop off Earlham Rd and to get a quote to compare with the big retail carpet chains, it was pleasing that the cost was similar for carpet, underlay, runners and fitting. He helped and guided me with carpet selection, but with no pressure. As well as being very flexible to work around my work schedule to check my measurements and to get the carpets delivered and fitted. We are really pleased with the two bedroom carpets - they look great and great service with a smile! Its nice to know a local business that I would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.”
